Commercial Solar for Nigerian Businesses

Why commercial projects start with a demand profile, not a roof survey.

Commercial solar succeeds or fails on the demand profile. Before anyone looks at a roof, we want to know when your load peaks, how sharply, and what it costs you when power is interrupted.

Businesses with daytime-heavy consumption — offices, retail, cold storage, light manufacturing — see the fastest returns, because generation and demand line up naturally and storage requirements stay modest.

Sites with sharp motor starts need attention on the power side rather than the energy side. Soft starters, staged switching and correctly rated inverters often matter more than adding panels.

Financially, the number that persuades boards is not payback in isolation but the combination of diesel displacement, avoided downtime and predictable ten-year energy cost.
